how do i scroll left and right in workspace?

Hi Ralph. So, generally the way the app is set up to work is for you to leave the model UI at the default zoom level - this will show the entire graph and you won't need to scroll. If you add a node using the "add node" button the UI will automatically resize to show the entire graph.
Are you finding that you don't have enough screen space to see your model in enough detail like that? We've been thinking about improving our controls here & better supporting zoom so that's why I'm interested in how you're using the app.
Some other things which could help:
- you can collapse the lefthand "Files" panel to give more room for your model (we just released this feature yesterday)
- if you zoom in, try pressing the shift key while scrolling your mouse wheel - this should allow you to scroll horizontally like you asked for :)

Emma Nash: thanks emma, the missing link is that shift-scroll doesnt scroll horizontally, it scrolls vertically as well as crtl-scroll. i assume its a windows problem and not your UI.
it would be great if the UI window had the usual scroll bars
