When will this become available on Aura ?

Hey folks,
As John mentioned, we have opened up our early access program for AuraDS to a limited set of users.
If would like to find out more information or want of to get involved, we have a couple spots remaining: www.neo4j.com/cloud/aurads

By way of update for this thread, working with Alicia Frame we are approaching internal user testing and select customer early access to our PoC GDS on Aura.

John Kennedy: Hi John, glad to read this. Our use cases are focused on recommendation engine related algorithms like Jaccard and Pearson to find similarities between items and users. And would be great to use GDS to use those algorithms on Aura. We are a brazilian education startup, Jovens Gênios, and we recommend the best topics for kids aged 10-15 to study, based on their difficulties and what others similar students are studying. Right now, we have more than 4 million questions answered to gather insight.
If our use case can help the PoC GDS on Aura, I would be happy to participate in the early access.

costa.fernando@jovensgenios.com: thanks for the feedback/input here.

John Kennedy: Hi John and Alicia Frame! What is the process for requesting early access to GDS for a team using Aura via GCP Marketplace?
John Kennedy
Matt Redlon: hello.
I'll send you a direct mail on this topic. Thanks for the interest.

John Kennedy: We are also interested in early access.

Succulent Data
Great question, Pierre. To your point, there are literally millions of SMBs that are left out of Neo4j graph data science-fueled solutions without an Aura integration. Of course, Neo knows what an untapped market SMBs are for graph databases, since that's precisely why Aura was created in the first place- to take advantage of those markets. The sooner GDS production workflows can be integrated with Aura, the sooner products can be built and sales made. As a data scientist myself, I am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to bring GDS products to SMB's. Without that Aura integration, despite the advantages that Neo's GDS has over "traditional" data science in certain areas, there is absolutely no way for it to ever get a real foothold unless solutions can be deployed to SMBs.

Succulent Data: inline with the internal communication we've had with you on this point, while this will remain here as a feature request to track interest and feedback on GDS in Aura, here are some additional ways to get going with GDS before then.
Desktop: GDS Community Edition is available in Neo4j desktop, which is a great tool for prototyping.
Sandbox: If you'd like a web based deployment, for students, I would encourage you to check out Neo4j sandbox: we have pre-configured sandboxes for GDS and fraud detection (using GDS) that have pre-loaded data as well as GDS. Sandbox is free!
Community Edition Server: You can download Neo4j Community Edition Server, and GDS Community Edition from our download center (for free!) and deploy those on your cloud platform of choice. We also have officially supported docker images (you can add GDS with --env NEO4JLABS_PLUGINS=["graph-data-science"])
Cloud managed services: Our professional services team offers cloud managed services, where they can set up a custom cloud deployment of Neo4j Enterprise Edition for you.
Start up license program: If you need the features of Enterprise Neo4j (Fabric, RBAC, Multidatabase) and Enterprise GDS (unlimited parallelization, integration with Neo4j EE features), if your company qualifies, I'd recommend you apply to the Neo4j startup program, which would give you a free Neo4j EE & GDS EE license.

John Kennedy: Hi John, Can you help me for GDS PoC GDS on Aura, I would be happy to participate in the early access.

Mehak Gupta: --env NEO4JLABS_PLUGINS=["graph-data-science"]) Please add plugin(compatible version) in exact folder on your server. It is available on neo4j site.
